We compared Randall Harman's author brand and book presence, line by line, with the best-known conservative political author on Amazon today. On the surfaces that decide whether a reader finds and trusts a political book, the gap is wide.
Brooks Craft scores ten areas that decide whether a reader finds, trusts and buys a book. Each is rated from what is live today on Google, Amazon and the web.
Scores are Brooks Craft Publishing's assessment. Every figure on this page comes from live pages captured on November 7, 2026.
Each pair was captured the same day, at the same size. Randall is on the left, Mark Levin on the right.
This is Randall's biggest brand problem. Searching "Randall Harman" returns phone-number directories, obituaries, a realtor and an NFL player. Randall appears once, as an Instagram thumbnail. Mark Levin's name opens a full Knowledge Panel with photos, a Fox News video, live X posts and his radio show.

Randall's book does have a Google book panel — his strongest Google asset. But it lists the author as "RANDALL. HARMAN" with a stray full stop, and the genre as "Biography". American Marxism gets an AI Overview that calls it a New York Times bestseller, plus Wikipedia.

letdcknow.org opens with the book as a 3D mock-up and "The Experiment Continues…". It is a cause site, though: Randall's name appears only on the cover, there is no About the Author page and no author photo apart from the cover. American Marxism's publisher page sells the book: Look Inside, Listen, and seven retailer buttons.

An Amazon search for Randall Harman returns his book and then an unrelated 1962 novel. His name is not linked to an author profile. A search for Mark R. Levin returns 136 results, led by his bestsellers in every format.

Conservative readers buy political books on Amazon. This is where the gap costs Randall the most.
Levin's listing opens with "#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER", a "Follow the author" box, an Audible sample and four formats. Randall's listing has a clear description, but no author box, no proof line and no audiobook.

Randall has done one thing right: his page carries a 9-module "From the Publisher" A+ section. But it uses stock-style images and long paragraphs, with no review, no endorsement and no real photos. Levin has no A+ at all — he doesn't need it, because his page carries named reviews from The American Spectator and Townhall and a bio listing eight #1 bestsellers.

Levin ranks in the top 100 of three political categories. Randall's main category, Political Leader Biographies, is meant for books about presidents and senators — the wrong shelf for a personal conservative memoir.

American Marxism is on every shelf a conservative reader visits, including audio. Randall's book is mainly on Amazon, and has no audiobook for the talk-radio audience that buys political books.

Randall's marketing is self-run: a cause website, a scholarship, Instagram and Facebook. Levin owns media — radio, TV and an app — and every appearance points back to the book.

Ordered by speed of impact: give Randall an identity on Amazon and Google, then get the book in front of conservative readers.
Brooks Craft Publishing will build the visibility this book needs to stand beside the biggest names in conservative publishing.
